Multidisciplinary expertise

I work where finance, data, and technology meet.

My background spans investment banking at J.P. Morgan, investment portfolio management at UBS, and Bitcoin and digital asset startups, where I've driven marketing, social growth, and fundraising. I also won a joint Human Rights Foundation grant to research Bitcoin usage across the Middle East, Asia, and West Africa, and I've spoken on podcasts, at conferences, and on X Spaces.

Then I took a detour. I didn't want to be left with “what ifs,” so I went to esthetics school and opened my own solo practice, which I grew into a profitable business. But it confirmed what I already knew: tech and finance have always been my passion, and I've come back to them with a founder's perspective.

I'm now building “AI from Zero,” my Substack newsletter, teaching people to use AI to make their lives easier, free up their time, and make more money. Anti-hype AI: no BS, no complicated words, just what actually works. Follow along on X at @lilitalksai.

    HRF Bitcoin Development Fund grant recipient, with Richard Myers

    A grant-funded field study of how bitcoin is actually used in emerging markets. The findings became an open-source report with concrete recommendations for wallet and Lightning developers building for low-bandwidth, high-political-risk markets.

    Design, backtesting and deployment of automated trading strategies in Python, with statistical validation and walk-forward testing rather than curve-fitted backtests. Includes building market-data pipelines and debugging execution logic across broker APIs — MultiCharts/PowerLanguage and Rithmic/CQG.
